Where does Néolithe stand in terms of CSR approach?

Néolithe has taken an interest in waste management to offer an alternative to landfilling and incineration, and to neutralize the carbon impact by developing circular plants in our territories. This mission is the source of our collective motivation and commitment, in which CSR naturally finds its place.

A CSR ambition driven by our values

At its core, Néolithe is deeply convinced that industrial companies must now evolve to offer solutions that address the social, environmental, and regional challenges we face today. Néolithe has therefore naturally turned to CSR to structure its approach, in a context of strong innovation and the stabilisation of its model: the establishment of its first large-capacity factory processing 100,000 tonnes of waste will take place in Anjou.

Néolithe’s “ecological” project principle must also be embodied in the way it works with its employees, customers, partners, suppliers and institutions. In practice, this CSR approach raises questions, is structured and monitored for continuous improvement. This is all the more true in a context of innovation and strong development.

A CSR strategy born from the field and collectively supported

Following an initial audit by Becouze, internal working groups were set up, based on the concrete issues shared by the teams and our partners, to structure its CSR strategy.
Three main areas of focus have been identified:

  • Quality of life and working conditions
  • Environmental impact
  • Ethics and regional integration

“We know this is a demanding undertaking. That’s why we are publishing this first report, which introduces the approach and marks an initial milestone. A monitoring and reporting tool is currently being implemented. It will allow us to assess actions, monitor them, adjust them, and make progress,” explains Pauline Humeau, Chief Administrative and Financial Officer and one of the leaders of Néolithe’s CSR policy.

The first full report will be published at the end of 2025. In the meantime, the initiative has been launched and is presented in these first pages to share its vision.
